A wolf in lamb's clothing

I know that if I was like, 10 years younger, then I could undoubtedly pull off an outfit by Meadham Kirchhoff. Now, not so much. But that's what I love about this crazy SS12 collection; its anything but serious. Recently, every magazine I've looked at, all I see is appraisal for the Dalston based designer due, and by looking at Dazed & Confused, they speak a hell of a lot of sense.

So until next week when MK show off their next collection at LFW, I'll be dreaming off those fucking immense shoes and that heart all in one piece. I also can't wait to get my hands on the nail wraps they've done for Topshop when there's more in stock/ if my local one has them

he makes things that you really want to wear

One of my favourite designers has be to Alexander Wang. I admire his ability to mix different fabrics and textures in a simple yet interesting way, paying extreme attention to detail. To me, his designs are what the future is about. His collections never fail to reflect what he sees from society and the way of life of a modern, contemporary woman, being inspired mainly by the development of technology and the speed to the city and movement.

His SS 12 is something simple and also brilliant; again being inspired by speed and performance. I love the unexpected use of different textures such as mesh and leather, jockey shirts and lasered chiffon; I think he offers something new and exciting, at the same time being very wearable.
